Former engineer sparks regional business growth to make ActionCOACH top 50

An electrical engineer from Leicestershire who traded the toolbox for sparking growth in regional firms has been recognised as one of the top 50 ActionCOACHes in the world.

Mark Jennings, who is based in Burbage, near Hinckley, has smashed one of his own business goals to achieve coveted platinum status from the award-winning coaching franchise, which has more than 1,000 offices coaching 20,000 firms every week across 46 countries.

One Nuneaton client alone has seen their net profits go up by 360 percent since Mark started working with the security specialist in 2013.

Moreover, Mark – who made his own first million within five years – coached his portfolio of clients, based across the region but mainly focused in Leicestershire, so well that, on average, they doubled their net profits in 2017.

On top of this, 80 percent of his clients have been with Mark for over three years, including two winners of ActionCOACH’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year, an award reserved for the very best in start-up growth across its clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Winning Coach of the Year for the Central Midlands at both the 2017 and 2018 UK ActionCOACH Awards, achieving platinum status puts Mark in the top six most successful ActionCOACHes out of the 230 franchises nationwide.

Previously an electrical engineer and then an operations director, travelling the UK running large-scale distribution operations for the likes of Tesco, Argos and Nestle, Mark now coaches three days a week and is on course to be made a Global Mastercoach, meaning he can train other franchise owners worldwide.
